ACM Boston Preliminary (BOSPRE 2003) Programming Contest Home Page
- The plaques for the winners who went to regionals are done and can
be viewed here.
- BOSPRE 2003 is over! See the
scoreboard(pdf),
description of scoreboard format,
and problems(pdf).
- Passwords have been sent to the team coaches so contestants can log
back into their accounts and continue solving BOSPRE 2003 problems
for the fun of it, with the autojudge judging.
- Judge's input, solutions, and output are available to contestants
on the BOSPRE 2003
private web page: a password has been sent to the team coaches.
- BOSPRE 2003 was a cooperative effort between Wellesley College and
MIT, who hosted the teams, and Harvard, who provided
judging and
problems using the net. Since Harvard provided the judging,
in order to avoid the appearance of conflict of interest,
Harvard did not attend BOSPRE 2003 (it went to WNEC).
- We plan for BOSPRE to be held every year, with Harvard providing
judging and computer support, and other schools hosting teams.
We have 2 schools who have expressed an interest in hosting
2004, but welcome other expressions of willingness.
A host site needs labs
that can handle 8 or more teams (24 seats plus 8 terminals).

If you have further questions or want to serve as host for 2004,
contact walton@deas.harvard.edu or the people at Westfield State.
