ACM Boston Preliminary (BOSPRE 2002) Programming Contest Home Page
- BOSPRE 2002 is over! See the
scoreboard,
description of scoreboard format,
and problems.
Judge's input, solutions, and output are available to contestants
on the BOSPRE 2002
private web page: passwords have been sent to the team coaches.
- The plaques for the winners who went to regionals are
here.
- BOSPRE 2002 was a cooperative effort between Providence College and
Boston College, who hosted the teams, and Harvard, who provided
judging and
problems using the net. Since Harvard provided the judging,
in order to avoid the appearance of conflict of interest,
Harvard did not attend BOSPRE 2002 (it went to WNEC).
- We plan for BOSPRE to be held every year, with Harvard providing
judging and computer support, and other schools hosting teams.
We have 3 schools who have expressed an interest in hosting
2003, but welcome other expressions of willingness.
A host site needs labs
that can handle 8 or more teams (24 seats plus 8 terminals).
