ACM Boston Preliminary (BOSPRE 2001) Programming Contest Home Page
- The plaques for the winners who went to regionals are done and can
be viewed here.
- BOSPRE 2001 is over! See the
scoreboard,
description of scoreboard format,
and problems.
Judge's input, solutions, and output are available to contestants
on the BOSPRE 2001
private web page: see your coach for password if you do not already
know it.
- BOSPRE 2001 was a cooperative effort with Boston College and
Holy Cross hosting the teams and Harvard providing judging and
problems using the net. Since Harvard provided the judging,
in order to avoid the appearance of conflict of interest,
Harvard did not attend BOSPRE 2001 (it went to WNEC).
- We plan for BOSPRE to be held every year by schools in the Boston
area.
WE NEED SCHOOLS FOR 2002. We particularly need schools with labs
that can handle 8 or more teams (24 seats plus 8 terminals) to
act as hosts. To see what is involved look
here.
If you have further questions or want to serve as host for 2002,
contact walton@deas.harvard.edu or the people at Westfield State.
- The practice facilities for BOSPRE 2001 participants and any
interested schools in the Northeastern Region
will be available thoughout this school year. Contact
walton@deas.harvard.edu
- The Northeastern Region of the ACM contest is run by
Westfield State College, which will be holding the regional
contest.
